Mappings / Connections

This section explains how to use the Connections UI in Qualiz to map data sources to destinations and configure the data streams for pipelines.


Connections List

The Connections page displays all the configured source-to-destination mappings within the selected project. From this page, you can:

  • View existing mappings between sources and destinations.
  • Edit or update mapping details.
  • Delete mappings that are no longer needed.

Actions

  • Edit – Click the edit icon next to a connection to update its mapping or stream configuration.
  • Delete – Click the delete icon to remove the mapping from the project.

At the top-right corner of the page, click the New button to create a new connection.


Create Connection

The Create Connection workflow guides you through setting up a new data pipeline by selecting a source and a destination, and defining the data streams that will flow between them.

Steps

  1. Select Source and Destination
  2. Choose the source and destination configurations from the list of available connectors.

  3. Configure Streams

  4. Select which data streams from the source should be mapped to the destination.
  5. Define any filtering, transformations, or enrichment rules that apply to the streams.

  1. Review & Save
  2. Review the connection details.
  3. Save the mapping to activate the data pipeline.

Fields

  • Source – Pick an existing source configuration.
  • Destination – Pick an existing destination configuration.
  • Streams – Define how data flows from the source to the destination, including selection, filtering, and transformations.

Once you have completed the setup, click Save to create the connection and enable data ingestion.


Connections are the core of data pipelines in Qualiz, allowing you to link sources and destinations while controlling how data is transferred and processed.
